Foreword

Attention!

This article is pending review. It is either incomplete, out-of-date, or I feel the need to disclaim my shame for a something I’m not proud of.

Gameplay

. . . in a nutshell

I need to make some revisions.

out the shell. . .

You fly, punch, kick and sting your way to victory. As your HP (or “hit points”) deplete, the protagonist will lose her clothes. Once she loses her clothes, subsequent damage will result in non-consensual intercourse with her foes. You can collect colored jelly beans (or larva?) to boost her stats, or recover lost HP or clothes. If you die (or get ♥♥♥♥♥ to death), you may restart at the stage you left off at will full life.

Gee, what nice developers!

The game-play is frustrating at times (thanks to hard to reach ledges) and feels slow. The protagonist doesn’t move very fast, even when “dashing”. The included “Read Me” file states that the player is expected to always dash, which begs the question why doesn’t the protagonist dash by default? Instead of holding down a key to perform an always useful maneuver, holding down the “shift” key should instead bring the protagonist to her walk. Attacks feel slow. I think with these titles, the animations often soak up a lot of screen time, creating long delays between actions.

Oh, and the “esc” key will kill the application. Fair warning.

Story

During the fateful year of 20XX, the Bee Kingdom fell to insects. No, not any insects in particular. . . so basically everyone who wasn’t a bee. The Bee Kingdom was enslaved and forced into sexual slavery, an unfortunate consequence of their anatomy — the bees of this world resemble attractive women, and the insects of this world love human anatomy.

You know what kind of human anatomy I’m talkin’ about. The good kind.

One day, a bee girl rose up. Tired of sexual slavery, she has decided to rebel against her insect rulers. Armed with nothin’ but a booty barb, your job is to help her overthrow the tyranny.

Or you can make her submit like everyone else. Your call.

Visuals

The titlemenu is plain and stylistic. From “Gallary”, you can check out each CG this title has to offer. In “Tutrial”, you can view an illustrated set of instructions. No, I didn’t misspell the menu selections — you can thank the developers for that. There are no user preferences that can be adjusted. That means if you wanna mute the game, you’ll have to do so via an external application. The in-game visuals were alright. They reminded me of flash games of old — although, compared to them, the production quality is through the roof.

The Goods

There’s a total of twenty-one CGs — seven full art pieces — and fourteen animated, in-game scenes (depicting enemy “attacks” on the protagonist’s lady bits). The in-game animations look darned good, but appear choppy. You can’t zoom into the images, and all of the CGs lack interactivity. The full art CGs are mostly animated, and animated decently. I’ve seen worse, and I’ve seen better. I would have liked to have seen more progression, like money shots! If you like seeing women being violated by oversized insects, this is your game.

. . . expect female-on-not-human intercourse.

Verdict

I recommend this title if (A) you don’t mind censorship and (B) you don’t need high-octane action and (C) it’s on sale. I don’t normally recommend these hentai, arcade-style games, but this title does a few things better than the rest — it’s very forgiving, and highly accessible to players of all skill levels (or patience). You can challenge yourself with an all-melee run, or spam “special techniques” until you win.

Which roughly translates to cheating.
