Foreword

Attention!

This article is pending review. It is either incomplete, out-of-date, or I feel the need to disclaim my shame for a something I’m not proud of.

Gameplay

. . . in a nutshell

I need to make some revisions.

out the shell. . .

Can you read Japanese? If you answered “no”, grab your nearest Japanese speaker and/or translator! There’s little, if any English in this title. I recommend the Google Translate App.

I’m not sure how to describe this game, but I think “stealth” would be an appropriate word. You have to evade enemies and traps as Yuna (the main protagonist) is absolutely helpless. To my understanding, the story starts with Yuna arriving at a “Nude Hot Spring”. Why she’s there is anyone’s guess, but I assume she’s pursuing a local legend: apparently, a beautiful goddess watches over the Spring, and she has the power to make a deserving woman really, really happy.

Everything and everyone wants a sweet, sweet piece of the Yuna’s naughty bits. You can expect to dodge sentient (adult) toys, (suspiciously white) goo, tentacles and hormone-crazed men. Every time you enter an enemy’s vision, you will experience an adult-scene and gain ten “lust”. If you gain one-hundred lust, it’s game-over. To remove lust from Yuna, you must drink a special beverage which can be found throughout her journey. Thankfully, the Dev’s were very generous with this beverage.

The “shift” key allows Yuna to sprint. You will need to sprint to get past many obstacles, so don’t forget it. But do forget about running in any puddles of white-goo. You’ll thank me later. All-in-all, this game is mostly one of remembering-patterns. If you do catch yourself in a lot of H-scenes (and consuming the previously-mentioned beverage), don’t fret. I didn’t know that sprinting was a thing until late in my play-through, so I made a lot of oopsies. I completed the game just fine though.

Story

I can’t read Japanese, so my understanding of the story is limited. From my understanding, Yuna is a city-girl lookin’ for a good time. She boarded a train for the Nude Hot Springs, perhaps in pursuit of a myth. It’s said that a goddess takes care of the Springs, along with any (deserving) lady who reaches her. You will take Yuna through an arduous journey, full of traps and very lusty creatures. Between levels, she makes pit-stops in cabins with one or more men, including a man named Hero. He’s the secondary protagonist, and he has a thing for Yuna.

Eventually, Yuna does find the Goddess of the Spring. She spits out a whole bunch of exposition, none of which I could read. From what I understand (or translated), it is the Goddess’ job to pleasure men. They exist to make the Spring’s inhabitants happy (via sexual favors). Afterwords, there’s a plot-wist of sorts, which involves Hero. I think. I’m not sure. But Yuna ends up replacing the previous Goddess, becoming the Goddess of the Spring herself. She and Hero become partners, and then happy (and naughty) ending.

Visuals

This is an RPG-maker game, and it shows. Most of the sprites are default assets which come bundled with the software. There are a number of modified assets (such as nude charactors), and a handful of original assets depicting traps. The original assets are meh, but serviceable. Nothing in the sprite-visual department impressed me.

The CGs and character portraits on the other hand are decent. Well, actually I have mixed-opinions about them. I like them, but I realize that they are not very quality. It looks as though they were made using a crude art program, which may-or-may-not have access to advanced tools a modern digital artist would expect. But they do show an understanding of anatomy and perspective, and are look visually appealing. Expect to see a lot of “fluid-action”.

Upon completing the game, you will gain access to all animations at-will, along with a series of special end-game (consensual) content.

The Goods

Verdict

If you like easy, stealth-based, lewd-games, grab this game if it goes on-sale. It’s certainly worth one USD, and I’d venture to say two if you can’t be bothered to wait for a sale. While the replay-value isn’t there, it’s a nice lil’ time killer for a night or somethin’.
