Foreword

Attention!

This article is pending review. It is either incomplete, out-of-date, or I feel the need to disclaim my shame for a something I’m not proud of.

Gameplay

. . . in a nutshell

I need to make some revisions.

out the shell. . .

This game is essentially a set of jigsaw puzzles, without the jagged pieces that are typically associated with this form of puzzle. Instead, the game pieces are squares (which significantly reduces the difficulty of piecing them together.) After completing a puzzle, you will get to enjoy an animated scene (based on the image), which is then added to the gallery (accessible from the title screen). If you find the puzzles too easy, make sure to set the difficulty to “hard” from the level-select screen.

Story

There isn’t really much of a story (or character development) in this game, but there’s something, which beats nothing. Four (of twelve) scenes depict random characters, but the other eight scenes (and comic panels) show two adventurers. They had been exploring a beautiful, crystalline cave, when all of the sudden they were ambushed by tentacles! And that’s the story. Expect a lil’ plot twist at the final scene.

Visuals

The title screen, though cluttered looks awesome. It features the necesities, such as a gallery, a level-select, and options. I don’t like the inclusion of “DLC” or “Bundle” options, which are purely promotional links. I think that these should be reserved for the store front, or discretely inserted. However, the title screen feautures a randomly selected (and provocative) anime girl, with some very jiggly bits.

The Goods

There are twelve 2D, animated images. They are very well made, with boat loads of goo and jiggles. The artwork itself is what I’d call professional, fit for a top-notch erotic title. The animation is great, but there were a few errors that I was able to spot (such as unnatural movement or visual glitches). There are also a few comic panels, which showcase a short (and lewd) story between a few adventurers (and tentacles!) Expect to see lots of goop, tentacles, and a bit of girl-on-girl action.

Verdict

I would highly, highly recommend this title on its gallery alone. The gameplay is okay, but not very engaging or challenging. For how cheap it is (at two USD), this game sets the bar for similarly priced titles of the genre.
