3D Hentai Blackjack

Foreword

I originally published a review for 3D Hentai Blackjack on March 25th, 2020. I have updated that review, to reflect my thoughts on this game as of June, 2020. This title was my first exposure to the game of Blackjack. At the time, I was unaware if this game was actually how Blackjack is played. I would later learn that this game is in-fact, real Blackjack, albeit a dumb-downed version.

You may choose one of five characters to challenge, each with four levels (of increasing difficulty) to complete. With each win, your opponent loses more clothes.

I like where this is heading!

To win the game, you must bankrupt your opponent. I suggest always betting the highest number, as there is no reason why you wouldn’t. If you can’t bet the highest number of chips, you can restart the match and “refresh” your bank.

Story

There is no story. But I’ll make one up.

So you’re at party, and the party dead. So you suggest a family favorite, Strip Blackjack!

Visuals

The user interface looks good. It’s thematically appropriate, but lacks basic functionality. There are no user-settings (other than fullscreen/not-fullscreen). To adjust the volume, I needed to use external software. From “Gallery”, you may review (unlocked) CGs, which can be viewed without interface.

The Goods

I thought the models were a mixed bag; I only somewhat liked a few characters. When the CGs are viewed in the Gallery, they have an out-of-focus background imposed onto them. This causes the characters to appear to be floating. Additionally, the models suffer from horrid lighting, which creates jarring edges on their skin.

. . . expect basic female nudity.

Verdict

I don’t recommend this title. It’s a cheap thrill with a meaty gallery, but the CGs leave a lot to be desired. If you’re a fan of Blackjack and nudes, I think you might get a kick out of this game. Unfortunately, this title falls short of my “thumbs up”.
