Strip Black Jack – Santa Babe is a lewd game of strip Blackjack.
(F, FxF) Sexual content.
No. Woot! Woot!
Hours of Gameplay?
No, not necessary.
I received a free copy of this game from the developers. I would have liked to have gotten to this review at an earlier date, but I got caught up with other releases on Steam.
Play rounds of Blackjack and use your earnings to unlock lewds! Blackjack is easy to learn, though I’ll only cover the bare-basics. The goal of the game is to have a hand that’s of higher-value than the opponent’s. You place your bet, and the two of you receive a hand of two. Each card has a value between one and ten. If the value of your hand is ever twenty-one, you immediately win the game — if it is ever over twenty-one, you immediately lose the game. You can choose to “hit” (gaining a new card) or “stand” (choosing to keep your hand as-is). When both players stand, they reveal their hands and a winner is declared. If you win, you’ll earn double your money back! If you ever run out of money, you can spin a wheel for more — games are wonderful aren’t they?
There is no story. . . why? Strip Black Jack – Manga Edition had a story. It wasn’t a great story, but it was a story. I figured maybe Mister Santa was delivering presents and Missus Santa was uh, delivering presents of her own to uh. . . her daughter. . . because uh, incest is wincest!
I didn’t like the titlescreen. There are too many fonts, and together with the assorted buttons it looks like a billboard of advertisements. As impressive as the jiggly-breasted girl was, she reminded of one of those desktop strippers. From the titlescreen you may adjust difficulty and language preferences. Audio and display preferences can be adjusted in-game. The user-interface is generally attractive, but it cannot be hidden when viewing any form of CG.
There are twenty-four static poses to unlock, which are displayed to the right of the Blackjack gameplay. You can “rotate” and “zoom” into them, which makes for ninety-six total CGs. These CGs vary in terms of lewdness, from erotic poses, masturbation, and sex between the main characters (including the snowman!) You can unlock three short films, which consist of multiple, animated shorts; like the CGs before, they vary from nudity to lesbian intercourse. The artwork is alright, though the models are definitely hit or miss. I found the animations to be somewhat stiff and unrefined (but none the less impressive!) I think I would have preferred a single animation three-times refined.
If you like Blackjack, I recommend this game. If you don’t, the adult-content isn’t worth the effort. In Strip Black Jack – Santa Babe‘s defense, there’s quite a bit of CGs to unlock. The animations are kind of rough, but for given the models and price point they are really impressive. Animating characters as detailed as the ones in this game is really hard. Unfortunately, like the entries in the Strip Black Jack series, there isn’t a proper gallery to view CGs. Barring the short films, they act more as an aesthetic than anything one would. . . enjoy (if you catch my drift!) With that in mind, if you like Blackjack minus the risk (with a side of tiddies), Strip Black Jack – Santa Babe is a bargain buy!
