Hentai Waifu

Foreword

I originally published a review for Hentai Waifu on November 26th, 2019. I have updated that review, to reflect my thoughts on this game as of September, 2020.

Gameplay

Rearrange tiles to reassemble an image. Even on the hardest levels, the number of pieces don’t exceed twenty. If you switch the game to “hard” mode, the puzzles will transform into sliders. Most slider-puzzles remove the bottom right from the playing board, which allows the puzzle pieces to “slide around”. In Hentai Waifu, any piece on the board may be removed.

You’d better know how to slide like a pro.

Story

There is no story (and I’m not making one up.)

Visuals

There is no titlescreen, it’s straight to the level-select screen. The background looks is animated and cheery, but it is also very basic, and doesn’t add to the “adult theme”. But, I didn’t have too much trouble navigating the game. There is no gallery, but puzzles can be insta-solved with a press of a button.

The Goods

The artwork itself is pretty high-quality, but the characters and scenes are all-over the place. It’s as-if the developers drag n’ dropped someone’s gallery right into the game. Again, the artwork is good, but lacks any form of direction or character development.

Verdict

I don’t recommend this game. If you’re scraped for cash, and you need a lot of puzzle-games for cheap, then Hentai hentai may be a good candidate. . . but the thing is, there are better lewd puzzle games for the same price (or in some cases, free.) If you’re strapped for cash, save your buck for your next meal — or give it to me. Who was the one that saved you that dollar in the first place?
