Foreword
Lethal Tempting Girls was a fun experience, despite it’s glaring flaws. I had hoped that this game would receive much needed love in the form of patches and updates. Unfortunately, development appears to have ceased since release. This game was released as an “Early Access” game on Steam, with promise of new content.
There hasn’t been an update in months since I first posted a review.
Though I still consider this to be an interesting title, I can no longer recommend that anyone purchase this game. My faith in development has waned, and it’s a shame that a framework for something good was discarded. I still desire to unlock all there is to unlock, but I hesitate in the face of more active, and more refined titles available to me.
Gameplay
. . . in a nutshell
A bare basic third-person shooter.
out the shell. . .
The goal of the game is to collect currency, obtained by completing missions. Missions can range from defeating bosses to saving hostages. Currency can be used to purchase, upgrade and regenerate your companions. As your companions level up, you will unlock new poses (viewable from the “lobby area”). You can also unlock new lobby areas, but they are exorbitantly pricey. Each lobby has a variety of areas to pose characters, from beds to chains.
Yes, chains because BDSM is cool
You can also remove your companions’ clothing, which also represents the number of hit points your lady friends have. You are able to bring any (one) lady you desire on missions, all of whom providing light fire support. You shoot a bunch of baddies, and interact with “hostages” if they are in the area. There are only a handful of stages, and you don’t earn much for doing them. Expect to play the same missions again and again, and breaking even (to repair your lady troops).
. . . no, this is not a game you can play one-handed!
Story
Some dude has found himself stuck in a virtual simulation. In this world, deadly machines and so-called “virtual idols” have gone rampant. Virtual idols are powerful foes, but a few have joined the dude on his quest to not-die.
If only virtual idols had sexy-time functionality, tsk tsk.
Visuals
The interface is clean and minimalistic. If you don’t know what does what, you won’t break anything if you click on random icons. Beyond that, I don’t have much else to say. The in-game assets feel like asset flips, but I can’t vouch for my feelings. In any case, the ladies look fine, and so do the stages. The enemies seem a bit out of place (stylistically speaking).
The Goods
The sexiest thing you’ll see is lingerie and light BDSM. As ladies take damage, their clothing tears away, eventually leaving no more than their underwear.
. . . expect almost female nudity.
Verdict
I don’t recommend this game. This is a bad game, with little promise for new content and updates. If this game looks like something you’d be interested in, I’d add it to your “Wishlist” and forget about it until it goes on sale. When it does, I’d then look and see if it has been updated.
If not, just forget about it.
– Words for the Dev’s –
I like the idea behind the game, but it lacks in many departments. There’s no character development, no story, little variety, and too much grinding. I would have liked to have seen at least (uncensored) nudity, and one or more “adult” animations. For how much grind we (as players) are expected to do, there isn’t much encouraging us to do.
