Chapter One: Introduction
Hentai Babes – Nations is a lewd action-RPG available on Steam. I didn’t bother completing this game, but I estimate it’d take the average person less than thirty minutes to complete all sixty puzzles without cheating.
Chapter Two: Gameplay (2/5★)
Section One: Overview
The goal of the game is to unscramble images by exchanging pieces. There are sixty puzzles total.
Section Two: Balance
The game is trivially easy with dinky, twelve-piece puzzles. Players disinterested in such puzzles can take advantage of the “AUTOSOLVE” function to complete any image instantly.
Section Three: Controls
The game controls great! Granted, there isn’t much to “control”, but I’ve played games where the puzzle pieces are needlessly complicated to interact with.
Chapter Three: Sexual Content (1/5★)
Section One: Content
There are twelve base images to see, with four additional variations for undress and climax. Each image is vaguely based on a differing nations, featuring military or traditional garb.
Section Two: Implementation
Completing puzzles reveals images. . . until leaving the screen.
Section Three: Interactivity
The images are not interactive.
Section Four: Quality
The artwork is well below average. The girls themselves look alright, but the backdrops are cheap as can be; only marginally better than gradients, photographs have been employed. Some images feature disembodied, copy and pasted penises. . . I’ve drawn better penises in high-school.
Chapter Four: Story (1/5★)
Section One: Overview
There is no “plot” to speak of.
Section Two: Characters
Interestingly, each character has a name and a few words of background accessible from the “STORIES” menu. None of them are worth mentioning, but I appreciate the effort from ZangGames — even if only the bare minimum.
Chapter Five: Sound (1/5★)
Section One: Soundtrack
With only a single, stock tune to carry all sixty puzzles, the music gets old. I was already looking for a “mute” button less than five minutes into the application.
Section Two: Sound Effects
There isn’t much to say; there’s only one sound effect in the game. It’s a nice confirmation while moving pieces and navigating the user-interface, but was two sound effects out of budget?
Chapter Six: Visuals (2/5★)
Section One: User-interface
The user-interface fails to impress with flat, seemingly premade buttons and sliders. But the user-interface is otherwise functional, with clearly laid-out navigation.
Section Two: Graphics
The game is a hodgepodge of cheap graphics and mismatching visual styles. Nothing says “high quality” like flat colors and gradients!
Chapter Seven: Verdict (1.5/5★)
I don’t recommend this game. The puzzles are too easy, and the artwork is too shitty. It’s clear as day Hentai Babes – Nations is but another cash grab from ZangGames. If you’re interested in inexpensive puzzle games, I recommend checking out Hunny Bunny Studio‘s games.
