Gameplay (2/5★)
Match rows of three or more like-symbols to collect points. There are six levels to choose from, each with a specified point goal. Once you acquire the allocated points, the level is completed and a lewd CG will be unlocked. There are no turn or time limits — you can play as badly as you want and still unlock everything!
Story (1/5★)
There is no story (and I’m not making one up!)
Visuals (2/5★)
The titlescreen isn’t animated very well, but it looks awesome! Unlocked CGs can be reviewed from the “Gallery”, but the user-interface cannot be hidden. In addition, there does not appear to be a way to adjust any form of user-preferences. Overall, I found the user-interface to be lacking — it’s too bland and dark. I didn’t appreciate the intrusive vignette effect.
The Goods (1/5★)
There are six animated CGs to unlock. While the artwork is okay, the animations are among the worst I’ve ever seen. Considering the quality of animation, the developers should have opted for static images. . . it’s that bad. Each CG offers a nude woman in a provocative pose. The content is unremarkable.
Verdict (1.5/5★)
Stay away from this game! Thankfully, you can’t waste your money on Holy Sisters even if you wanted to — the game has been delisted from Steam. In all fairness, Holy Sisters isn’t that bad, but the artwork and half-assed gameplay are inexcusable for a paid title. It wouldn’t have taken much to turn Holy Sisters into a great dollar-buy, but it’s gone now. . . good riddance.
