I wonder if we share the same “friend”. I’m glad you’re “impressed”, because I’m not exactly proud of my site in its current state. But hey, it’s come a long way since I fumbled it into existence. To answer your question, I don’t charge anything for reviews. Actually, I’ve never been paid to write any particular article — but I strongly appreciate monthly donations. Developers usually just send me their games, and if I find the time I’ll write about them. Sometimes I receive games from my readers, and I write about them to return the favor. I also buy my own games, and I write about them to share my experience (and get my money’s worth!)
