Gameplay

Mash keys to complete a designated string of inputs and collect points. Each input corresponds to an arrow key, and must be completed when an on-screen graphics rests inside the designated area. Each (successful) input nets points, which are accumulated between levels — unfortunately, points serve no point whatsoever.

Since the developers want feedback, I’ll bite (but will they reel in my suggestions?)

There should be adjustable difficulty; perhaps, increased difficulty increases the number of points you gain. It’d be cool if points could be used to purchase cosmetics, or maybe even new visual effects!

Story

There is no story (and I’m not making one up!)

Visuals

The titlescreen looks like a horror game! Between the blurry graphics, poor lighting, and uncanny, on-screen babe I felt as though a jump scare was around the corner. Oh wait — there was, and it was her! There is no ability to adjust audio preferences, or window the application. If you do find the main character attractive, there is no “free mode” or gallery to view her without the user-interface.

The Goods

There is no adult content, though it’s clear the main character is intended to be arousing or sexy. It’d be nice if there was nudity — but then again, that’s the least of this game’s problems.

Verdict

I don’t recommend this game — was I pranked? Club Girl may be a dollar, but it’s hardly worth a dollar. The gameplay is lacking, and collecting “points” is a half-assed incentive to complete levels. There is no adult content, and no unlockable content (such as new costumes or levels). Overall, Club Girl is a mediocre (at best) rhythm game.
