Tit Tap Tingle Review (2/5★)

Table of Contents

Chapter One: Introduction

Tit Tap Tingle is a clicker game available on Steam. I wasn’t interested in finished in this game. It appears I had the same sentiment when I first played the game; upon revisiting this application, I found only the first girl was completed. For this playthrough, I only bothered to complete one more girl for the sake of this review.

I can’t say how long it will take the average player to complete the game, but I estimate at least a few hours — mostly because unlocking content is such a slow, slow grind.

Chapter Two: Gameplay (1/5★)

Section One: Overview

Armed with an assortment of “tools”, you must “tap girls with your mouse” to rack up “TIT points” to play “Affection Events”. Affection Events are essentially visual novel-style cutscenes, offering a deeper look into the lives of your “beautiful classmates”.

Each of them has “Ero-Zones”, which provide additional TIT points when they are tapped. During the beginning stages of the game, Ero-Zones are a quick and fun way to push into the first few Affection Events. Affection Events are where the real meat of the game lies. . .

funnily enough, reading, not “tit tapping”.

There’s also a mini-game called “Tip Tap Stomp” which I’d describe as a poorly controlled “Super Mario clone”. Basically, you just have to jump on the heads of your enemies and take care not to be underneath a spawn point — not that you have any control over that.

Tip Tap Stomp doesn’t add anything meaningful; it’s just a hurdle for achievement hunters.

You can press the “space” key to open a chess interface while “tapping” girls, but there is no AI to play against. Like Tit Tap Stomp, “CHESS mode” contributes nothing to the game.

The chess screen is intended to cover the screen “If you’re scared of your mom . . . seeing you tap these beautiful women”; but minimizing the application as the same affect. It’d be an entertaining minigame while collecting TIT points, but good luck finding “player 2” to pass the time.

Maybe your mom will play you?

Section Two: Controls

The clicker gameplay works as it should. However, I don’t like how dialogue cannot be controlled via the mouse. The rest of the game is played and navigated via the mouse — why not text boxes?

Scrolling up and down the classmates’ bodies is cumbersome. You have to right-click the screen and move the cursor in the direction you want to go. This functionally would be better supplemented by “WASD” control.

Section Two: Balance

Bizarrely, purchasing new “tools” decreases your affection. This gameplay aspect combined with an already excessive grind makes every Affection Scene take ages to unlock. Searching for “Ero-Zones” is fun for maybe a minute — then you minimize the application, come back, and realize you still haven’t unlocked the next Affection Event.

Chapter Three: Sexual Content (NA/5★)

Section One: Content

As far as I know, there is no sexual content in this game — not even nudity. A few Affection Events are a little sexually tense, but if anything they’re more a tease than erotica.

Section Two: Implementation

There is no sexual content in this game that I’m aware of.

Section Three: Interactivity

Clicking on classmates will play dialogue in the upper left corner.

Section Four: Content

Although the name of the game is “Tit Tap”, there is nothing arousing about clicking on static images. The Affection Events leave me wanting more.

Chapter Four: Story (4/5★)

Section One: Plot

From what I could gather from the game, the main protagonist (e.g. you) is at a beach with his classmates. Instead of hitting them up like normal people, he gets their attention by poking them with “tools” — such as sticks, cucumbers, and plungers.

Where the fuck did he find a plunger on the beach?

Tit Tap Studios writes, “A school field trip to the nearby beach island Chikubijima suddenly goes on lockdown due to some unknown circumstances in Japan and various other countries around the world, leaving TonTon University students and their professors stranded. You’re now stuck on an island with your beautiful classmates that barely know you”.

It’d be nice if that was in the game!

Section One: Characters

The supporting cast of classmates are surprisingly well fleshed out. Reading their individual reactions to the main protagonist’s usage of “tools” is humorous. The dialogue isn’t half-bad, but there doesn’t seem to be any connection or ultimate cimax to b gained from unlocking all Affection Events.

I could be wrong because I didn’t actually test that, but there wasn’t any dialogue to suggest the game is more than a collection of “what ifs”.

Chapter Five: Sound (3/5★)

Section One: Soundtrack

The music is advertised as “personalized to each heroine”, owing to a variety of musical genres throughout the game. During my playthrough, I heard a mix of classical music and beach-themed beats.

I wasn’t fond of either, but they’re setting-appropriate.

Section Two: Sound Effects

The cartoonish sound effects in this game are a lot of fun!

Chapter Six: Visuals (3/5★)

Section One: User-interface

The user-interface looks alright. The interactive elements look a little amateurish with stock icons and gradients as backgrounds, but it’s all consistent and visually appealing.

Section Two: Graphics

Tapping on tits kinda blows because the school girls don’t move around or shift poses.

Affection Events are just as disappointing; the visual imagery often betrays written content, failing to show what is described. Clearly, Tit Tap Studios was really strapped on the art budget.

Chapter Seven: Verdict (2/5★)

Maybe I would have recommended this game in the past, but I don’t think I’d recommend this clicker today. It’s a functioning game with fun dialogue, sure — but “functioning game” doesn’t do the grind justice. Tit Tap Tingle should have been a visual novel with clicker elements. This is also one of those games I consider too lewd for the average person, but not lewd enough for anyone into lewd content. I didn’t see a single bare tit!

And for a game called Tit Tap Tingle, that’s an awful big let down.
