Gameplay (3/5★)
Read and make selections here and there. Fantasy 5D – An Erotic Quest is a bit like a “choose your own adventure” story (except nearly every choice leads straight to a sex-scene!) You needn’t worry about reaching a “game over”; worse case scenario is that you enter the DARK PATH.
Story (3/5★)
Brad was working on an “innovative new fantasy game” — and by “innovative” he means transcend time and space! He, his girlfriend, and his roommate are sucked inside his “5D” creation by an evil witch. Brad is transformed into a barbarian, and his friends into a futa half-orc and a green-skinned hobgoblin. Brad isn’t fond of his “friends”, so he’s happy to whore them out as they try to escape. They are tasked with helping the world — but Brad isn’t keen to playing the witch’s sinister game. It’s up to him to guide his “friends” within his world, and find his way back into the “3D” realm!
Visuals (2/5★)
The titlescreen looks okay. It features the bulk of the female cast, but the main protagonist is nowhere to be seen. From “Preferences”, you may adjust audio, display and gameplay preferences. There is no gallery. By golly, bad English is rampant — I don’t know if Drunk Robot needs a better translator or if they want to sound drunk!
The Goods (2/5★)
There are a variety of sex-scenes, which offer a combination of animated and static CGs. The animations are either stiff or jittery — there’s a lot of room for improvement. The artwork is produced with 3D models, but they look rather dated. If you’re willing to look past the model quality, the lewd scenes aren’t bad — there’s gratuitous nudity and forced prostitution. One of the main protagonists is a futa; however, if you’re not a fan of futas her scenes can generally be avoided.

Wait for updates. As-is, Fantasy 5D – An Erotic Quest only offers an hour or two of content (provided you replay the game a few times). This title offers a tremendous number of CGs; most visual novels reserve full art CGs for select scenes. This game is pretty much only full art CGs! However, the visuals are also one of the weakest points of this title. I’m skeptical anyone will find the models or sexual content to be arousing. Fantasy 5D – An Erotic Quest definitely favors quantity over quality. I’m unsure if this game is meant to be taken seriously — I don’t think it is (but I didn’t find it funny either). I think that with additional content, improved English, and strengthened comedy, this could be an alright game.
