Foreword

I received a free copy of this game from the developers. Thanks ADOG!

Gameplay

Play “rock-paper-scissors” and roll high numbers. There are seven characters to challenge; each waifu corresponds to one of two minigames. The first minigame is what I’d call a “rock-paper-scissors reskin”. You and the opponent choose from one or more cards, which represent “robber”, “beauty”, and “cop”; robbers beat beauty, beauty beats cops, and cops beat robbers. The other minigame is what I’d call “rolling for highs”. You and the opponent roll one or more die, and who ever rolls the highest number of highest values will win. Every win nets CGs (provided the adult patch is installed!)

Story

There is no story (and I’m not making one up!)

Visuals

The titlescreen is simple and animated — I like it! CGs and audio preferences can be toggled from the level-select screen. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be a way to hide the user-interface when viewing CGs. I enjoyed the overall game aesthetic. Many characters in the game have a sort of “particle effect”, such as floating bubbles or falling candies. Some users may find these distracting (and they should be toggleable), but I’m a sucker for useless bling.

The Goods

The base game does not feature adult content — or any CGs for that matter!

West Sweety! – Full [DLC]

This (free) DLC adds “mature content”. Each character has three interactive, sexual animations and six static CGs. In total, there are twenty-one animations and forty-two images. However, each characters’ gallery is based on a single pose. The interactions are not badly animated, but they are lacking. If you let go of the mouse button, you’ll lose your “progress” in seconds. When you climax, the animations will abruptly end with a static scene. In addition, the animations auto-scroll, forcing you to focus more on the mouse than uh, you know. Overall, the artwork is high quality — I saw little animations errors. Most of the “interaction” includes feathers, tongues and wieners. There’s a few goodies for foot fetishists, but don’t expect anything too crazy.

Verdict

Sure, I recommend this game! Between the adult content, gameplay and price point, West Sweety is a good deal. This game requires no skill whatsoever — every game is determined purely by RNG. Basically, you click a button (or five) and hope to win. There’s a certain satisfaction to rolling barrels of virtual dice, but it’s only fun for so long. There are a few improvements that could be made regarding adult content (namely toggleable interface), but artwork is high quality. If you’re looking for a super-casual game with a side of lewds, I’d give this game a looksy!
