Gameplay (1/5★)
Shoot baddies until you die (or get bored). You may choose between a machine gun, a shotgun, or a pistol. There is one enemy, a little red gremlin that will charge and swipe chunks of your health. These gremlins will spawn infinitely (and in close proximity). There is no “goal”. The closest thing to such are the Steam achievements tied to this game; to obtain all of the achievements, you must kill one-hundred enemies. I know that sounds hard, but I finished them in about ten minutes.
Sound (2/5★)
The game features a pretty rockin’ riff. It’s in line with the “satanic” theme, but it’s super repetitive. Beyond the gun sounds, the rest of the game sounds empty. It’s not an interesting game to hear.
Story (1/5★)
A lone holy sister (I’m sorry, “Holy SIster”) must fight against the forces of Hell for eternity (or until you get stuck somewhere and have to reset the game. . . either-or).
Visuals (2/5★)
The titlescreen wouldn’t be so bad if the protagonist’s hair didn’t grossly clip into her arm. From “Options”, you may adjust audio and graphical preferences. The game doesn’t look great, but I enjoyed the fleshy, hellish landscape.
The Goods (1/5★)
The base game does not contain nudity or adult content.
Holy SIsters 3D – DLC 18 plus [DLC]
This DLC removes the protagonist’s clothes. Her nipples look great, but I don’t think she has genitalia (and her body looks pretty scuffed). She’s better naked, but the nudity is hardly worth fappy.
Verdict (1/5★)
Don’t even think about buying this game. You couldn’t even if you tried — Steam removed this game from their shelves long ago. Actually, I think Steam scrubbed the developer from existence! As shitty this game is, I hate to see them go. Holy SIsters 3D wouldn’t have needed much work to be an okay game. All it would have taken are a few new enemies and some objectives or “quests”. Unfortunately, Steam has sealed this game’s fate — it shall forever be condemned to Steam Hell.
