Foreword
Do memeware developers look at my history with joke titles? I was given a free copy Naked Warrior and I was immediately put-off by the visuals. Seeing how this game is something I’d probably review with or without a free copy, I figured I had better give it a shot.
Gameplay
Pick a stage and kill the final boss. While there are enemies that will try to stop you, it’s best to avoid them unless you already have their attention — enemies will not stop pursuing you. Ever. It’s imperative to find a sword and shield, to amp your stats for the final showdown. You start each level with twelve healing flasks, which can be used to recover lost HP in exchange for temporary immobility.
. . . no., this is not a game you can play one-handed!
Story
There is no story, moving on.
Visuals
The titlescreen was a wreck — the offcentered menu does not fit on the screen, and the visual effects are much too distracting. You can adjust resolution preferences from the main menu. The “Options” selection doesn’t actually let you adjust any settings. Rather, “Options” is more like a tutorial on what keys do what. The in-game visuals
The Goods
The main protagonist and (most of) her adversaries are totally nude! However, there is an overwhelming wiener to meatloaf ratio. While you do play as a female character, I’d make sure I like wieners too before looking into this game.
Verdict
I don’t recommend this game. I didn’t find it engaging or funny. I think that if more obtainable items and enemies were added, it would go a long ways to improve this title.
