To be honest, this is less a “game” and more a slightly interactive film. I suppose you could classify Shohei’s Adult Streaming Channel as a form of animated visual novel. You watch short clips and click on questions to progress to the next animation. That’s. . . all there is to it.
. . . yes, this is a game you can play one-handed!
Story
In a nutshell. . .
Big Dick Shohei hosts a series of slightly-lewd to very-lewd shows with buxom Japanese models on Ero Paradise, an adult-streaming platform of sorts. He warms up his audience with a substitute for his main star, Saeko Chan. She’s a virgin with a boyfriend, but Big Dick Shohei aims to change that. Will Big Dick turn Saeko into his new waifu, and her boyfriend into a uh, lame-fu?
Visuals
The titlescreen is designed to be a sort of mock-up of a modern pornsite. I rather liked the stylish interface, but I was super-disappointed to find ninety-nine-percent of the buttons and scroll bars to be entirely non-functional. “Start Broadcast” starts the game, where you can adjust audio and display preferences at anytime. The language is non-adjustable, so you’d best know how to read English and how to hear Japanese.
The Goods
There are twenty base, animated CGs to see, all of them beautifully rendered. The animations are nothing short of spectacular. Most CGs feature two or more variants, showing progression or response to player choices. With variants, there are thirty-nine(!) animated CGs to see. Expect to see bare breasts and basic male-on-female intercourse in an interview/webcam-like format.
Verdict
Wait for a good sale and removal of censorship. Don’t get me wrong, the animation is phenomenal. I don’t doubt this experience is worth every penny, just on the production quality alone. However, you are paying for what is essentially an interactive film. While I liked the interface, I didn’t like the fact that it constricted the content to a dinky window — I would have much rather viewed the sexual content as a sort of borderless, fullscreen video with pop-up prompts.
