Gameplay
Rearrange pieces to assemble an image. You may choose from eight four-by-four (or sixteen) piece puzzles. After solving an image, you’ll get to enjoy a lewd animation. There is no “cheat” button, and there is no gallery to view previously-solved images.
Story
There is no story (and I’m not making one up!
Visuals
There is no titlescreen — it’s straight to the level-select screen. The aesthetic and user-interface is stock as can be. Audio can be muted at anytime via the speaker icon. There is no gallery to review CGs; when watching the animations, they cannot be fullscreened and the user-interface can’t be hidden.
The Goods
There are eight animated CGs to see. Each animation shows a man mounting an anime waifu. I didn’t appecriate the way their faces are cut-off, and the CGs are grainy. . . like GIF files. It’s okay for GIFs to be grainy, because it’s a consequence of reduced file size; but it’s not okay for a videogame, where the sky is the limit regarding file sizes!
Verdict
I don’t recommend this game. When I review generic puzzle games, I don’t ask for much. The gameplay is below average (even for a swippy-swappy!) The artwork, though animated well, is grainy and unmarkable. You’d be better off searching for “Hentai GIF” on Google Images. After solving a puzzle, a “play” button is displayed over the animation — and clicking it resets your progress! Not only does Hentai GIF Puzzle lack a functional gallery, but it’s barely even a functional game.
