Gameplay
Have you heard of a game called “Flappy Birds?” There are five total levels. You play as a sperm cell, and the goal is to dodge oncoming hazards (or uterine walls) and reach the egg at the end of the stage. The sperm rapidly “falls”, and the stage moves to the right. You can give the sperm a preset, vertical boost to avoid falling off the screen or running into an obstacle. The idea is to carefully time each boost, as the only way to descend is to allow the sperm to do so on its own volition. Each stage becomes longer and longer, increasing the punishment for losing (which resets the stage).
Yes! This is a game you can play one-handed!
Story
There’s five women who need some babies, and that responsibility lies squarely on you. You must dodge their pesky uterine walls and insure that your sperm gets the goal!
Wait. . . but do you really want five babies to your name? That sounds like a child support nightmare.
Visuals
As impressive as the titlescreen looks, I think it’s a mess. The user-interface suffers the same problems as the developers’ (GENIE) other works. It’s serviceable, but can’t be hidden in-game. There is no gallery, so to review CGs you will need to recomplete the appropriate stage. There are no options to adjust, other than a mute/unmute button.
The Goods
There are five animated CGs that you can unlock. They are poorly animated, but they aren’t the worst CGs I have seen (but that’s not sayin’ much). I thought that the ladies (displayed in-game) looked a bit off, but that could just be me. Overall, I consider the artwork to be below-average.
Verdict
I don’t recommend this game, unless you have a hankering for Flappy Birds-eske action with a side of anime boobies. I could that being an actually fun game, but Hentai I’m coming! is not a fun game. The core gameplay isnot terribly fun on its own, and it sucks being forced to restart a long run because the RNG gods decide to throw a pair of un-navigable walls at you to end your run. For own sake, save your money, and buy something better.
