Foreword
I received a free copy of this game from the developers. . . great timing guys! I saw Bubble Girl on a list of upcoming games for Steam, and I was thinking about reaching out for a review copy. I didn’t have to ask!
Gameplay
Shoot “bubbles” to match groups of three or more like-colors and collect stars. Bubble Girl is a bit like Bubble Bobble, but every five levels you complete you’ll unlock another lewd CG (making this game objectively superior in every way!) Each color of bubble is tied to one of four power-ups; once you pop enough of any color bubbles, you’ll earn one special bubble that can be used at anytime; the “fire bubble” has a large explosive radius; the “water bubble” destroys a full row of bubbles (and it’s kind of OP); the “spread bubble” launches three explosive bubbles; and the “leaf bubble” destroys a short, vertical column of bubbles. As you progress, there will be new obstacles and power-ups to contend with, keeping gameplay fresh!
It’d be cool if each star you collect strips the waifus — just a suggestion!
Story
There is no story (and I’m not making one up).
Visuals
The titlescreen is alright (and the big booty tells you exactly what you’re getting into!) Strangely, when entering the titlescreen another waifu momentarily flashes (and the “Album” option takes a bit to load in.) From “Options”, you may adjust audio and language preferences. You can review CGs from the “Album”, and the interface can be hidden via right-click. I was not impressed by the user-interface — it looked so stock. However, I did enjoy bursting bubbles with waifus as my backdrop!
The Goods
There are eight animated sex-scenes to unlock. Each scene consists of three CGs for stages of undress and sexual intercourse. The first is fully-clothed, the second fully-nude, and the final CG includes a disembodied wee-wee with thrust! The artwork is decent, and so is the animation. I did spot visual errors here and there, but the sex-scenes are otherwise serviceable. don’t expect anything too saucy or kinky, just “normal” intercourse. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any climaxes (which is like, the best part!)
Verdict
I do recommend this game! There’s meaningful gameplay and a pretty okay gallery to go with it! This game makes you think, but it’s not frustratingly either. Waifus pretty much make everything better, and this game is no exception; it’s nice shooting bubbles as you are beckoned with soft, squishy waifus. Bubble Girl is a relaxing game with lewd content, but it’s not a lewd game. I’m always down for tiddies, but at the end of the day Bubble Girl is a game with sex-gallery for. . . added value. If bubbles and tits sound like your cup of tea, Bubble Girl is your brew!
