Gameplay

Make your opponent cum before you in organized sexual sport! The goal of each match is to force your opponent to climax by filling their Ecstasy bar, which is primarily increased by using sex moves. To increase the effectiveness of sex, it’s important to raise your opponent’s “Arousal” via Foreplay and by removing their clothes. During Foreplay and Sex, both players gain Arousal and Ecstasy; Dominance effects who gains the most, and Dominance alone can easily sway the tide of battle. By grappling your opponent during intercourse, you can turn their sex-attacks against them. If an opponent has you on the ropes, you can attempt to counter or escape their moves, allowing you to enter a more favorable position. All actions cost “Energy”, and winning requires careful management of your precious stamina. Should you run dry, you’ll helpless to your opponent’s advances.

. . . but whoever wins, the it’s win-win in the sex department!

There are three modes to choose from. In “Arcade Mode”, you choose a fighter and fight your way through increasingly difficult enemies. In “Versus”, you choose your opponent for a one-off battle. In “Story Mode”, you can enjoy the riveting tale of Kinky Fight Club through visual novel story-telling and scripted battles. Before starting a new game, you can choose what gender you prefer your opponents to be. In addition, you may set you and your opponents’ “roles” to “active” or “passive”, which affects how each character dominates their competition. New a new game mode (called “BDSM Mode”) can be unlocked from the Shop, but I couldn’t be bothered to save up for it. There’s actually tons of content to unlock, but you only get a few Coins for each battle.

. . . and the cheapest unlockables cost two-hundred of these coins.

There are a number of settings which can be applied to increase your gains, however. These include increasing the global difficulty level or the number of orgasms required to win. I suggest activating “Short Mode”, which doubles the rate characters accumulate Arousal and Ecstasy for a 25% financial penalty. You can actually set two CPU to fight, and run the application in the background as you reap the rewards — be sure to keep an eye on the game, so you can reset matches and keep making bank. If you do this all day you might unlock a few worthwhile items in the Shop.

Developers, can we earn like, five-times the coins?

Story

Before digging into “Story Mode”, I was asked to give my character a name. After careful deliberation, I settled upon Muff Diver, because I plan on her divin’ down a whole lot of fuzzy meat flaps. I set her age to eighteen, and accidently set her hobbies as her name (which doesn’t sound like a bad hobby at all!) I focused her skill points on her sexual prowess, and I tried my best to recreate the Zero Suit Samus character from the Metroid game — if you ask me, I think I did pretty damn good.

Now with that out of the way, let’s talk about the story!

Miss Muffy is new to Atlantic City, and she is meeting her old pal Matt at the Atlantic Bar. He introduces her to his longtime crush, Marlene. Muff manages to woo Marlene, and she leaves her with an unknown address. A few days later, Muff Diver visits the address, per Marlene’s wishes. What she finds is an extravagant, clearly erotic club with heavy security and lots of moaning. To Muffy’s surprise, she finds Marlene there in a scant bunny outfit.

I already like where this is heading!

She reveals that they are at the Kinky Fight Club, and she is one of the head hostesses. She takes Muff Diver to see her first Kinky Fight, and soon the dialogue started to infinitely loop after Marlene started talking about the Club’s owner — thankfully, I was able to hit “esc” to skip the remainder of the cutscene, if any. After viewing the match, Marlene takes Muff Diver to see the big man himself, Mister Zed.

Totally not related to the Borderlands Zed (or dare I mention, Ned).

After explaining the ancient art of Sex Fighting and its legality, he dismisses Muff Diver. She confides to her pal Matt, whom hooks her up with his porn star gym coach friend Max. He is joined by Maia, a rival coach. Following an explosive argument, Muffy is forced to entrust one of them to train her for the Kinky Tryouts. I opted for Maia, because Matt looks like a washed-up old man — and I do not find old man dicks to be very attractive.

So I opted for Maia’s plump ol’ tiddies instead.

After one sparring session with Maia, it’s off to the Kinky Club for tryouts. By the skin of her teeth (or uh, pussy?), Muff Diver beats her opponent. Maia and Marlene commend Muffy for her performance, and over the next few says she dives headfirst into the pussies of every woman that stands in her way. It doesn’t take Muffy long to gain Mister Zeds attention, along with the local news outlet. They are shocked and appalled to learn about Muff Diver’s positive opinion on the Kinky Fight Club, and they hope that she will return to “clean her name” on a later date.

. . . but that’s not gonna happen!

Visuals

The titlescreen is good enough, it’s certainly thematically appropriate. From “Customize”, you can not only customize the entire cast, but you can also access the Shop, where you can purchase a number of items (including a Pose and Photo Gallery). Also from “Customize”, you can also adjust a wide variety of preferences, including audio, visual, and lots of gameplay settings from the “Visual Features” and “Gameplay” menus. Audio, display and graphical preferences can be adjusted from “Options”. The “Tutorial” explains the functionality of the main-menu, but additional tutorials are provided as needed. Finally, you can adjust controls from the “Kind Binds” selection. Overall, I’m impressed by the player-freedom. I am not impressed by the fact many settings much be adjusted by flicking arrows back and forth (instead of say, a drop-down menu.)

And the English, by golly is it awful!

The Goods

There are tons sexual positions to see, which serve as the primary means of “fighting” your opponents. Most of the animations focus on foreplay, groping, and domination. There are gay animations available for males and females, which makes for a very gay friendly experience. The animations are okay, but I enjoyed the way they change based on the sexual state of each character involved. There’s a few unlockable galleries, but I haven’t the patience to sit down for (I dunno) a week to unlock them legitimately. For a game all about climaxes, the climaxes absolutely blow; each character just sort of slows down as one of them sprays piddle for a few seconds. By far, the poor quality models do the adult-content the biggest disservice.

Verdict

I definitely recommend this game, on account of gameplay and not-so-much lewd content. However, I think it would be wise to wait for a good sale. I didn’t think much of this game at first, but it’s actually an engaging, fast-paced clicker game where sex is literally the name of the game. The character customization and variety of sexual animations was actually pretty awesome, though my biggest issue with the game are below-average visuals. If the characters were say, cute anime girls I think it’d have a lot more appeal to adult-gamers. While Kinky Fight Club was a pleasant surprise, the graphics and grindiness are buzzkill to the asking price; once again, I strongly suggest waiting for that sale.
