Gameplay: overview (4/5★)

The base game offers five opponents. Combat is carried out via match-three gameplay, not unlike Mirror. Each row of three or more like-pieces will have provide one of many affects; “attack blocks” deal damage; “stamina blocks” restore your hit-points (or “stamina”); “defense blocks” will decrease received physical-based damage; magic resistance blocks will decrease received magic-based damage; and “rage blocks” can be collected to power-up single attacks. You may use a variety of unlockable items to provide special abilities, such as modifying or destroying blocks. If you match rows of more than three, you’ll procure special blocks with enhanced effects! As your foes become increasingly difficult, you’ll need to invest your winnings into bettering your base stats and develop your match-three skills. If you’re not chaining multiple rows, you’re not gonna get very far. Some foes can prevent movement by locking blocks!

Sexual Content: overview (3/5★)

There are five interactive, animated CGs in the base game. DIIV SOFT Co., LTD. got real creative with the sexual content; from bizarre insertions to laser-based clitoral stimulation (youch), I was a little surprised. Each sex-scene is prefaced with some unremarkable dialogue. Afterwards, you may repeatedly click on one of two icons to sexually please your chosen character. Afterwards, you must find a hidden object to unlock the final icon, before ultimately unlocking the “Finish” button. The artwork is great, but the animation is a little choppy. Climaxes are instantaneous, leaving no time to uh, “enjoy your reward” before the scene moves onto more dialogue. Cum is conducted via decals and painted-on “splash” effects”. The cum-splats looks like they were made with splatter brushes.

Story: overview (2/5★)

The Lastania Continent is home to a “legendary beauty”, or “Queen of the land”. She is know throughout the land, and many have sought her hand in marriage.

She has “turned down all men” thus far.

However, a man with the “sole purpose to conquer all the beautiful women” has his eyes set on the “Queen’s heart.” Setting foot in her Royal Castle, he’ll have to fight his way through her most elite warriors to gain her audience (and claim his prize!)

Sound: overview (NA/5★)

I played this game muted, so I won’t be judging it by audio.

Visuals: overview (4/5★)

The titlescreen is kind of spectacular; barring the excessive text, the radial display of heroines and visual effects looks like something I’d see on a “real game”. From “Options”, you may adjust audio, display and language preferences. Previously unlocked sex-scenes can be viewed via “memories”. Unfortunately, the user-interface can’t be hidden. I enjoyed the graphical elements of this game, but the visual effects could have been better. The English leaves a lot to be desired — it’s just bad, not funny.

Verdict: meh, but is oke (3.5/5★)

While rough around the edges, this is a game worth picking up on a sale. It’s no Mirror, but if you have a lewd “match-three” itch to scratch Last Standing is a decent game to tide you over (for lunch, at least). There isn’t much to see; it only took me an hour to see it through. Since I played this game, I had hoped the adult content would be refined somewhat — they added an “Automatic skip on H-scene completion”. The user-interface still can’t be hidden, and the content isn’t very interactive. I had also hoped the remainder of the fightable cast would be implemented — though clearly labeled as “DLC”, these characters have yet to be implemented in any shape or form. Overall, Last Standing is alright. What it needs is improved English and sexual content. . . but it’s worth a quickie.
