Foreword

This was a disappointingly easy, though delightfully lewd game. For fans of the Seek series, Midsummer is a great addition to the Steam Library. Alternatively, Midsummer would be a great introductory to lewd hidden object games.

Gameplay

. . . in a nutshell

A standard hidden-object game. Collect items and put them in the right places.

out the shell. . .

Have you ever played any of the Seek games? Each stage involves looking for a note (or “clue”), and then solving a short puzzle. Unlike the Seek games, this title is very, very easy to complete. It took me less than half-an-hour to complete all ten stages.

Yes! This is a game you can play one-handed!

Story

There is no story, moving on.

Visuals

The titlescreen looked strange, but it was otherwise navigable. It appears to have a poorly cropped image , presumably to mask nudity (or prevent spoiling an in-game CG). . . is it that hard to draw a new picture for the titlescreen? Anywho, the game defaults to not-English, so good luck finding the “Options” menu (English speakers). From there, you can adjust audio, display and language preferences. The “Gallery” is exactly what it sounds like. Most of the user-interface can be hidden, but the button for hiding the interface always remains.

Can it like, not? Developers?

The Goods

There are ten total (animated) CGs to unlock. The animations and artwork look great! Each CG is interactive — you can remove the subjects attire, and fondle them in up to three ways. The scenes do leave a few things to be desire, but otherwise look good.

. . . expect female and male-on-female sexual content.

Verdict

Yes, I highly recommend this title. If you’re a fan of the Seek series, you’ll definately like this game too. When this game goes on sale — well, you’re in for a steal.
