There are two portions to this game; between plumbing minigames, there’s a moderate amount of dialogue to read. In the plumbing minigame, you must rotate assorted pipes to guide a water current from start to finish within ten minutes. You may choose between three difficulty settings, each providing new dialogue, CGs and increasingly difficult gameplay. The gameplay has no footing within the story, leaving me to believe Romantic Room simply copy/pasted premade gameplay.

There are ten animated CGs, with variations for undress and climax. When viewed from the gallery, you may cycle through animations — but dialogue is strictly relegated in-game. The artwork is decent, but the animation is a little stiff. I enjoyed the bukkake-style climaxes, but they make no sense given the story context. Each CG showcases a different girl from a different short story. I wish they focused on the main, female protagonist, but I guess I had to settle for assorted hentai.

Scott’s an alcoholic writer, but he’s a famous alcoholic writer with a hot friend — as Irma tells him lewd stories (and racks up his tab), he daydreams about sexual exploits.
. . . to be honest, I’m not interested enough in this game to actually read through all of the dialogue. The writing is difficult to sit through, and the humor falls flat. I mostly hit the “skip” button.

The titlescreen is inappropriately psychedelic. Audio can be adjusted via “Settings”. Unlocked CGs can be reviewed via the “album” icon. Unfortunately, the user-interface can’t be hidden. Overall, I found the user-interface and animations to be mediocre.

I don’t have the steam to complete this game. The writing isn’t interesting or funny, and the “gameplay” fails to grip my attention. The lewd content isn’t worth my time, and frankly I have no desire to waste anymore time on this software.
