You’re able to strip each character by hitting designated “pegs” (with three hearts on them). When they are hit four times, they are removed from the game — possibly with an article of clothing! Unfortunately, there is no sexual content or nudity (at least, I’m pretty sure). I unlocked multiple Steam achievements for “completely undressing” the cast, but I didn’t see so much as a nippy slip. There doesn’t appear to be any form of nudity in the gallery either. Since I didn’t unlock the full gallery, just to be sure I extracted the artwork from the game — there are bare bodies, but they don’t depict any genitalia. It’s clear the naked bodies were never meant to be shown to the players. It’s a shame because the only reason I bought this game was because I thought there would be tiddies.

The titlescreen and menu look great. I think the text is a little off-centered, but the animated background is awesome (though it has virtually no relation to the actual gameplay). There doesn’t seem to be a way to adjust user-preferences, such as audio or display — talk about a fail. From the “Gallery”, you may review unlocked material. Unfortunately, none of the content can be borderless full-screened. However, the gallery is strictly comprised of conceptual art (so you’re not missing much). Pachi Pachi On A Roll offers a wonderful array of movement and flashy colors. Visually, this game is spot-on. The graphics and user-interface are a delight. Beyond the titlescreen, Pachi Pachi On A Roll appears to be a polished game that’s sure to evoke some sense of gambling and grandeur.
Verdict: no boobs, no win (3/5★)
I had fun playing this game, but I think I would be happier with my money. For nine-dollars, I ended up with maybe thirty-forty minutes of fun. I have to commend Pachi Pachi On A Roll for mechanically interesting gameplay. Dolores Entertainment took full advantage of the digital medium by offering a form of pachinko that couldn’t be replicated in real-life. I was gravely disappointed by the lack of nudity, but it was to nice to work towards fan-service — skin is a powerful motivation to play with your balls. As much as I enjoyed the variety of levels, I think this game would have benefited from a unified theme. The last level offers a wonderful (and surprisingly difficult) fantasy-themed rendition of pachinko. If the entire game looked like the last level, that’d actually be pretty dope. I don’t think Pachi Pachi On A Roll is a bad game — it’s simply twice as expensive as it should be. For the right crowd, I think it’s a relaxing game with slow-paced gameplay and flashy effects. No matter your “crowd”, I think you should wait for a heavy sale.
