Gameplay (3/5★)
Match pairs of three or more to unlock nudes and dialogue! WISH – Paradise High is a run-of-the-mill match-three game with light visual novel elements. Between levels are a few lines of dialogue, with a single player choice — if you choose wrong, you’ll piss off your date and suffer a three-turn penalty. You’re only allowed a certain number of “matches”, and as the game becomes more difficult you’re better off retrying if you pick the wrong option. Each level has a target score (and later levels have designated, mandatory “matches”) which must be met to proceed to the next stage. . . or you can just hit the “Skip” button.
Story (2/5★)
From “one-on-ones” to “private lessons”, it seems like there’s always an Asian snatch waiting for you! There’s Roha the YouTuber, Nanami the cosplayer, Lumi the yoga instructor, Sachiko the business woman, and Hina the dommy teacher. Thanks to your ability to “move their minds while playing puzzle games”, getting into their pants will be a snap!
Visuals (3/5★)
The titlescreen looks great! It features a very attractive lady and pretty visual effects. From “Option” you may adjust audio, display and language preferences. You may also toggle “Adult Mode” from this screen. Unlocked CGs and sex-scenes can be reviewed from “Extra”. Unfortunately, the user-interface can’t be hidden when viewing sexual content. Not all of the CGs can be borderless-fullscreened. Visually, the game is very attractive, though copy-pasted assets are clear as day. The English is an absolute joke — actually, if you’re looking for a laugh you’re in for a treat!
The ‘Goods’ (2/5★)
There are five interactive sex-scenes, and five animated portraits (with two variants for undress, each used in-game based on your matching performance). The artwork is super hot, but the animations are so-so. I loved the characters and their expressions, but it’s clear Momentum Games really tried to stretch their budget. There’s only animation for each character, and it’s copy/pasted in-and-out of sex-scenes (just with clothes tacked-on and the wiener cropped-out). The “interactivity” consists of holding the mouse button down until the “Finish” button shows up. Overall, the art is great, but sexual content is lacking.

Wait for a sale. WISH – Paradise High is an okay match-three game with okay artwork. That’s all it is — okay. It’s a shame because had their been stronger CGs and dialogue (and maybe some proper English), this might have been a pretty okay game. The mechanics introduced in this game aren’t much different than the competition. While they increase the variety in gameplay, they also increase the likelihood of being “RNG-screwed” (which is compounded whenever you choose the “wrong choice” during visual novel segments). WISH – Paradise High could be better, but it’s worth grabbing on a sale.
