Gameplay (4/5★)
Play a variety of minigames to unlock nakies (but mostly solve puzzles!) Between levels, World of relish is a bit like a visual novel (though I’ll admit, that’s a bit of a stretch). The bulk of the game is solving five-by-five swippy-swappy puzzles. These puzzles are pretty easy to solve, but they take a few minutes a piece. There are a variety of minigames, which serve to break the monotony of puzzle-after-puzzle. The “theme” between games differ, but they can be broken down into four types; one of them is about matching like-objects; there’s one where you search for (not-so) hidden objects; another one where you must catch falling objects; and a discount rhythm game. There’s a handy “skip” button whenever you need it.
Story (3/5★)
You’re new in town, and the local inn-keeper needs your help! It’s a small world, and it doesn’t take long for everybody to need your help too! In exchange for your time, the locals are willing to part with their clothes. Ladies, I think y’all can learn something from World of relish!
Visuals (4/5★)
The titlescreen is nicely arranged, but it’s kind of boring. From “Settings”, you may adjust audio and language preferences. From the “Gallery”, you may review unlocked CGs. Images cannot be fullscreened, and the user-interface can’t be hidden. Beyond the title, the game looks great! It’s visually coherent, and the interface looks is attractive.
The Goods (3/5★)
There are eleven base, static CGs with up to three variations (for undress) each. In total, there are thirty-nine images to unlock. The artwork is somewhat amateurish, but it’s beautifully rendered. There’s nothing saucy, just everyday poses with nudity.
World of relish – Artbook 18+ [DLC]
This DLC adds a fifty-page PDF to World of relish‘s installation. It contains every CG in the game. It’s a rather large file (115 MB), so it can take a long time to load (but it’s not like it’d matter anyways, PDF “artbooks” blow).
Verdict (3.5/5★)
Not a bad deal if you enjoy swippy-swappies! I wish more puzzle games tried to offer the story and variety of World of relish. This game has characters, a story, and multiple mini-games to keep you interested. It’s far from riveting, but it shows Nozhin games studio put more a little more effort into this title than copy/pasting somebody’s gallery into template code. The artwork is pretty, but it’s hardly arousing — it’s for that reason I can’t recommend this game for anyone that wants to fap-fap. It would have nice to see lewder content. World of relish is a good game for someone that wants to kickback for twenty-thirty (minutes), or achievement-hunters. If you’re one of those people, it’s worth a buy!
