Gameplay (1/5★)
Play rounds of minigames with your “future waifus” to “unlock” their clothes! The first game you must play is Tic-Tac-Toe — you better get gud if you want to trick the AI. Next is a standard memory game, where you must turn-over cards to find matching pairs. Last is the “Find Color Game”, where you must locate a series of off-colored tiles in rapid succession — if you don’t have good color perception, I guess you can’t play this game.
Story (1/5★)
There is no story (and I’m not making one up!)
Visuals (1/5★)
The titlescreen and user-interface are a mess. Cyber Keks couldn’t be bothered to correctly scale each waifu (or correctly spell!) The English is awful, you’d think a child wrote this game. The title on the titlescreen isn’t even the same title as what’s on the Steam store! I haven’t even gotten past the titlescreen, and I all I see is fail. You can adjust volume from “Settings” and view CGs from “Gallery”. The user-interface is hidden when viewing full-art images — at least Cyber Keks did something right.
The Goods (2/5★)
There are seven static full-art CGs, and seven nude portraits. The portraits are used in-game as you battle each waifu. There’s a sex-CG for everyone, and they are pretty hot! Unfortunately, there are no climaxes or variations. It’s too bad everybody only has one CG to offer. I’m more interested in one waifu done right than seven done mediocre!
Verdict (1/5★)
As nice as a few of the CGs are, I can’t recommend this game. It’s not fun, and the artwork isn’t worth the time. I’m not sure how to describe it, but this game feels very. . . sticky. The controls just aren’t very snappy. When I first reviewed this game, I said “my gripes with this title are minor”. Wow, I used to be so merciful. Today, my gripes with this game are major. It’s terrible! It’s only a dollar, but unless you’re trying to stretch every penny I see no reason to buy this game. Stay home and play with waifu! is a wonderful case of “quantity versus quality”; save your money, and buy more quality titles.
