Foreword
I originally published a review for Hentai Chaos Run on January 30th, 2020. I have updated that review, to reflect my thoughts on this game as of September, 2020.
Gameplay
Jump, run, and slide in a straight line and kill baddies for an arbitrary high score. You can take up to three hits from blades or baddies, causing you to lose more clothes and the screen to zoom in (restricting vision). Take care to time your jumps like your life depend on them (because spikes insta-kill). While the randomly generated levels does lend to a wider variety of gameplay, they do sometimes screw you over with impossible jumps (perhaps ending your run because bad RNG).
Story
As far as I could glean (from the store page), the plot follows an “anime girl” who is trying to reach some kind of “endless freedom” by (what I assume) to be escaping a castle. . . which (I also presume) is also endless. I guess she’s destined to be some evil’s play thing?
Visuals
the titlescreen is a mess, and so are the visuals. Before the main menu boots, you can choose between two languages. From the “Settings” selection you can adjust audio and display preferences. Strangely, there is no option for 1920×1080 resolution, and the application cannot be borderless fullscreened. The in-game models are well below average, and they look like the belong in a mobile game.
The Goods
As the protagonist takes damage, her clothes will tear away, eventually revealing her bare body. I could only find a single sex-scene in the game — sometimes, you can see the protagonist get tentacle-raped if you die correctly. The animations and models are subpar. With how little adult-content this title has to offer, it shouldn’t have it at all.
Verdict
I do not recommend this game (even as cheap as it is). It’s a bad runner game with poor hentai on slapped on it. Luckily for you, Hentai Chaos Run is no longer available on the Steam store. If you have a dollar that you want to piss away, I suggest giving it to me instead.
