The world of Hentai Femdom Sim: Femdom University is dog-eat-dog. Until you’re able to defend yourself, you’ll have to collect cans and lick boots. Everybody has it out for you — most of whom eager to kill and/or rape you. Whenever you’re defeated in combat, your “experience” is penalized. Until your strong enough to win battles, they only serve as a downward spiral into slavery. Depending on who you choose to submit to, you may find yourself facing “permanent consequences”. They are effectively interactive “soft-locks” or “game-over”. When you become somebody’s forever “bitch”, you’ll have to restart your adventure for new content. In addition to avoiding death and slavery, you must also maintain your grades and pay your rent. Until you find legitimate work, you’ll have to make do with “empty bottles” (by searching dumpsters!) Getting from “A” to “B” is a test of sanity — you’re forced to run long, empty stretches with some abysmal “sprint” mechanic. If anybody stops you, chance’s are you’ll be killed (resetting your progress!)

There’s a wide variety of sexual animations, most of which revolving around “femdom” (or female domination), abuse and pet-play. Enemies will even attempt to rape you during combat (typically by smothering your character). There are a variety of “mechanics” to keep you alive during encounters; by pressing the keys indicated on-screen, you’ll be able to resist death. If you fail to breath and control your arousal, asphyxiation and orgasm abuse will cause you to black out (and die). Generally speaking, it’s best to “submit” and “swallow” and keep your life. There are a few mini-games, but they’re rather boring. One of them has you “licking boots” by dragging the mouse cursor, and another crawling from “A” to “B”. The former hurts your fingers, and the later is boring. If you get too close to hostile NPCs, they’ll typically stop you and force you to play a sex-scene or minigame. Overall, the animations and models are well below average. The themes are hot, but the visuals are not. It’s a shame, because violent femdom is hard to come by in games.

The music is grating; it sounds stock, and I can’t bare to hear anymore. Sex sounds like a pair of baby seals beating each other next to a fan (causing their cries to take on a choppy distortion). I was basically forced to mute the audio.

The titlescreen is a stylistic mess, but the at least the main-menu is easy to navigate. You can remap your keys via the “Controls” menu, but audio can only be adjusted in-game. The “ BIG WORLD” of Hentai Femdom Sim: Femdom University is well below-average (in terms of graphics). The player-character is the the only character that is rendered without a face. I know this is a common feature to represent viewers (in adult media), but I find that it makes sex-scenes feel disconnected. Faceless protagonists don’t work as well when there’s character customization. The “open-world” appears grossly out-of-date — I feel like I’m playing a game from the OG XBOX era. Textures are flat and boring, and assets are low-poly. The explorable world is an empty wasteland, failing to provide visual incentive to explore. Considering the travel time between areas (made worse whenever you’re forced to crawl), having an interesting world is imperative. It’d help if NPCs didn’t stand like statues, but interesting AI are the least of this game’s problems.

I shouldn’t have played this game again. I was hoping SaliaCoel would have dramatically improved this game by now, but it’s clear little meaningful updates have occurred since my last playthrough. I read through eight month’s worth of “updates”. It seems SaliaCoel has worked on balancing, bug fixes and “permanent consequences”. Unfortunately, these “updates” don’t address this game’s biggest issue — it’s not fun. Had SaliaCoel reduced the scope of the “open-world”, I think they would have had more time to polish all aspects of the game. There’s nothing wrong with the subject matter — on the contrary, Hentai Femdom Sim: Femdom University has a lot of hot femdom to offer. However, the audio, gameplay and visuals remain low quality. It still sucks grinding and getting from “A” to “B”. The sex-scenes look, sound and control bad. The graphics leave a lot to desired, but the animations hurt the most. It’s okay having below-average graphics, but bad animation is the bane of all graphics. Hentai Femdom Sim: Femdom University is game suited for a team of developers. SaliaCoel has a long way to go before this game will be worth asking price.
