Gameplay: overview (3/5★)
The bulk of the game is exploring a faux operating system — but the real meat of the gameplay is the shoot-’em-up minigame. As you navigate “GreatherOS”, you must download and toggle the appropriate applications in order to unlock the “Hack-Her” program. You may encounter “Greather Coin” (or “GC”) paywalls — Greather Coins are unlocked by destroying foes within the Hack-Her App. “Hack-Her” is a basic shoot-’em-up with increasing difficulty over time. The game starts off slow, with manageable enemies. It doesn’t take long for the screen to be transformed into a soup of deadly obstacles! When you die, it’s game over. You’ll have to try again from the beginning! Be on the look-out for “Hacks” — you can never have too many hacks! Hacks provide power-ups, such as multiple projectiles or increased “shields”. Each enemy you destroy is worth a certain number of “kilobytes”, which dictate the number of lewd CGs that’ll be unlocked from the in-App gallery. Once you’re finished with “Hack-Her”, it’s time to reap the rewards of Greather Coins!
Gameplay: wombat rambles
Since I last played Hentai Hack-Her, the “GreatherOS” has improved somewhat. On release, it was merely a hurdle to the core gameplay (or setting the “Hack-Her” program to unlock lewd content). It’s still a minor inconvenience, but GreatherGames has since implemented new content to keep you playing once you’ve seen the end of “Hack-Her”. While GreatherOS is a novel point-n’-click segment, I still think it needs more explorable content. I want to get lost in the “Greatherverse”; I want to scroll through dumb chatrooms; I want to read more bogus “terms of service”; and I want to install more “viruses”! Greather Coins are a step in the right direction, but I still want to see more integration between GreatherOS and Hack-Her. It’d be interesting if you could find new “hacks” throughout the internet. Speaking of “hacks”, I want laser beams dammit!
Sexual Content: overview (4/5★)
There are twelve unlockable CGs; seven of them are unlocked by accumulating “kilobytes” in Hack-Her; and the other five are unlocked by spending “Greather Coins” within select applications on GreatherOS (which are also accumulated via Hack-Her). A handful of the CGs are animated. Most of the animation is unremarkable (like blinking), but a few CGs are basically hentai. It’s great playing a game with “hentai” in the title with actual hentai in-game. I loved the artwork — it’s a big improvement from the first entry in the series. The heroine’s pussy is obscenely leaky (like, you could put a straw in it). Regardless of animation, each CG is voiced. I found the voice grating at first, but it grew onto me a bit. Most of the sexual content is basic nudity and masturbation, but there’s a hot lesbian scene!
Story: overview (2/5★)
There is no in-game exposition, so I thought I’d hit the store page for more information. GreatherGames says “Explore your new desktop, choose your wallpaper, listen to music, check out the web and even install applications.” Wow GreatherGames, I can even install applications? Then he says, “Now having your very own desktop, who could imagine.”

From what I gather, the “hero” of Hentai Hack-Her is you — and you’ve got a brand new PC with GreatherOS installed (how unfortunate). You’re also single and ready to mingle — but not everybody is ready to mingle like you. Thankfully, with the help of the “Hack-Her” software, you won’t need to go on any dates too see boobs and goopy lady lips!
Best of all, “she will never know” — that makes it okay!

GreatherOS comes preloaded with a music player! There’s a selection of (two) chill beats, but they weren’t my style — I turned them off after a brief listen. I thought GreatherGames would update the music player over time, but it’s still pretty vacant.

GreatherOS itself offers a handful of “systemy” sounds, but I think it would benefit from a few additional audio effects. The “Hack-Her” software offers a few surprisingly intense tracks. They would be more appropriate for a high-octane first-person shooter (but as the difficulty level increases, they become more fitting). As you rack up points (I’m sorry, “kilobytes”), you’ll enjoy a series of moans and dirty quips. I found them a little off putting, but then again “sexy-talk” isn’t my thing. Each CG (animated or not) comes with voiced lines. They definitely add to the “immersion”, but the lack of sex-related sound effects is a little off-putting (like uh, squishing sounds).
Visuals: overview (4/5★)
The titlescreen is thematically appropriate — it’s a mock login screen. Audio can be adjusted in-game from the bottom-right “task bar”. The “Hack-Her” titlescreen is visually stronger than the main titlescreen, though it offers little adjustable user-preferences; you may only toggle visual effects. From “Data Received”, you’re able to view unlocked CGs. CGs are rendered in a 1:1 ratio, and they can’t be borderless-fullscreened. I thoroughly enjoyed the overall visual theme of Hentai Hack-Her, (toggleable) glitchy visual effects included. For the most part, it’s stylistically consistent (but I can’t say the same for GreatherOS). GreatherGames needs to so pinching pennies and hire another artist. There’s a few guest appearances on GreatherOS, but they feel more like paid promotions than fun Easter eggs. Speaking of cameos, where’s my cameo GreatherGames? If you can have “Bat Prince”, you can have your best only pal, DatWombat!
Verdict: worth a short (3.5/5★)
If you enjoy laid-back shoot-’em-ups with point-n’-click elements, Hentai Hack-Her is worth a play. Otherwise, I don’t think you’ll enjoy this game. Hentai Hack-Her would benefit from a few content updates and accessibility features. I find GreatherOS to be a novel concept that separates Hentai Hack-Her from like-titles. GreatherGames did a good job crafting a virtual “operating system” that imitates the real thing — but it’s still a little lacking. It’d be great if it was less a barrier to the actual game (or the “Hack-Her” program) and more a companion. The shoot-’em-up gameplay isn’t bad, but it’s not a significant improvement over Sir’HaXXX. Barring the GreatherOS “gameplay”, Hentai Hack-Her feels like a reskin of the first game (but it looks and sounds better!) Both games require some skill to complete, but if you know what you’re doing you can unlock all of the lewd content super quickly. I like the way Hentai Hack-Her tries to break the mold, but I think it needs a little more work to marry each gameplay mechanic (and increase playtime!)
