Waifu Breaker is a lewd bullet hell of sorts. . . not sure what I’d call it.

Gameplay
Dodge projectiles and collect hearts to unlock “light zones”. The idea is to inhabit a lightzone to “light up” (or unlock) part of an image, featuring an anime waifu. To aid you in your quest are shields and special abilities, such as the power to dash or slow time. Once an image has been fully “lit”, it is unlocked in the gallery. There’s a total of ten stages.
Story
There is no story, moving on.
Visuals
The titlescreen is very stylish. You may pick one of two game modes, or hit up the “Gallery” to review (previously unlocked) CGS. CGs can be fullscreened without the user-interface, which is great. From “Settings”, you can adjust audio preferences.
The Goods
The CGs are well drawn, but static and lacking in saucy content. Not only that, but they are censored. Well, feck. Expect female nudity.
Verdict
I hesitate to recommend this game, but all-in-all it’s a decent time killer with a side of naked ladies. If you’re okay with censorship, can you really ask for more?
