Gameplay (5/5★)
Dodge baddies, spikes and projectiles (and take care not to fall off the map!) The goal of each stage is to collect one or more vials (because uh, magic?) Each level is broken into two or “areas”, which can be manipulated. It’s necessary to rotate sections in order to evade death traps or reach certain places. In total, there are sixty-five levels, which are divided into five “chapters”. Every fifteen levels you complete, new enemies and mechanics are introduced (and you’ll unlock another CG!) If you get stuck, just get good! There is no cheat button (yeah, I already tried.)

Zoe’s man has been kidnapped by the dark lord! Zoe will stop at nothing to have Eliot back in her arms — no amount of orc, slime or goblin rape with discourage this plucky heroine from getting back her man!
Visuals (3/5★)
The titlescreen is nicely arranged, and I dig the color pallete. The main protagonist, Zoe is displayed on-screen. I don’t like the way she bobs up-and-down, it’s distracting. The question mark icon will bring-up an animated tutorial on how to play the game. The photo icon will take you to the gallery. The user-interface is not hidden when viewing CGs. Take care not to hit the “X” button: doing so will close the application, rather than the gallery. Images can also be viewed from the level-select screen, but they are marred by a prompt that reads “Click to Continue”. Strangely, audio and display preferences can only be adjusted once a level has been selected. These options should be accessible from the level-select or main menu.
The Goods (2/5★)
There are five unlockable, static CGs. All of them feature nudity, but only two have sexual content. The two sexual CGs have the heroine, Zoe getting raped by a pack of goblins and a bed of slimes. The artwork is decent, but some viewers may find it flat or amateurish. I was disappointed by the distinct lack of sexual content.
Witch Zoe – Art Pack [DLC]
This DLC provides the in-game CGs as downloadable, 1920×1080 (2K) images and nine behind-the-scene images. Usually, when an artist shares line-art or rough drafts, they export the unfinished pieces as if they were completed (or at the very least, they screenshot the them). The artist behind this game literally took pictures of their screen, and uploaded them to this DLC. How crude! The files are stored in Witch Zoe – Hentai Shuffle‘s “Local Files” inside a folder labeled “Art Pack”.

As long as you’re not actually looking for adult content, Witch Zoe – Hentai Shuffle is a great buy! This game is a somewhat challenging platformer with tons of levels. Oftentimes, levels are just hard enough to keep you from raging out (even when you die over and over again). As a lewd game, Witch Zoe – Hentai Shuffle fails miserably. There are pornographic images in this game, but the amount of gameplay it takes to see any of them is outright silly. In fact, Witch Zoe – Hentai Shuffle could have done without the adult images, and the game would have been virtually unchanged (and it’d probably appeal to a wider crowd). I always appreciate boobies in my games, but wish this game had more to offer. Regardless, if you’re in the mood for some frustrating fun platformin’ action, Witch Zoe – Hentai Shuffle is a total steal!
