Chapter One: Introduction
Hentai Match Fantasy Stories is a lewd match-three game available on Steam.
It took me about twenty minutes to complete the game.
Chapter Two: Gameplay (2/5★)
Section One: Overview
The goal is to accumulate points by matching rows of three or more “tiles” within the time limit. Alternatively, randomly spawned “power gems” provide awesome, board-wiping effects.
As the game progresses, it takes more points to progress. Combined with an increasing number of gems with negative effects, the game gains a slight challenge by the last few levels.
Section Two: Balance
The game is too easy. I only spent a few minutes actually playing the game. Most of my experience was scouting for power gems and watching tiles combine one after another without my input.
Chapter Three: Sexual Content (1/5★)
Section One: Content
There are three sex-scenes and three nude portraits.
Section Two: Implementation
Completing levels unlocks increasingly nude portraits. Full art images are shown when select levels are completed. When all levels have been finished, the “Gallery” is unlocked.
Section Three: Interactivity
The “sex-scenes” only offer a single line of dialogue. Otherwise, the artwork is not interactive.
Section Four: Quality
The artwork is decent, but sex-scenes are poorly written and the number of images to characters reduces my overall attachment.
Chapter Four: Story (1/5★)
Section One: Plot
Ero Team Triangle writes, “Hentai Match Fantasy Stories tells the story of a guy who is transported to a fantasy world where he meets women ready to fulfill their most pleasurable desires.”
I suppose that makes the game an isekai?
Section One: Characters
The dialogue puts me under the impression the “guy who is transported to a fantasy world” is kind of rapey. From what I gather, he just sort of beats up three attractive women until they inexplicitly decide they want him to come inside.
Chapter Five: Sound (1/5★)
Section One: Soundtrack
The music is appropriate for the setting. However, there’s only a few tracks in the game — and they aren’t a very exciting.
Section Two: Sound Effects
It’s difficult to hear any thing above all of the moaning, but I could tell I wasn’t missing out.
Section Three: Voice Acting
I’m not sure if I’ve heard more annoying voice acting!
Every match and count down plays back a poorly recorded moaning sound. They’re played back in rapid succession resulting in monstrous playback. It got so bad I had to take off my headset!
Chapter Six: Visuals (2/5★)
Section One: User-interface
There are numerous spelling errors in the game.
The user-interface is a mix of sharp and blurry elements; for example, text is fuzzy but the “checkmark” and “X” icons are sharp. Otherwise, the interface is reasonably appealing.
The “esc” key closes the application. I hate this so much; in most games, the “esc” key is often used to bring up a “pause” menu. It’s difficult for me to un-train myself from using industry standard keyboard controls.
Section Two: Graphics
Tiles, gems and backgrounds feel stock, but at least they are appropriately fantasy-themed.
Chapter Seven: Verdict (1.5/5★)
This game gets the big “nope” from me. With only mediocre gameplay to show for itself, Hentai Match Fantasy Stories wouldn’t be worth your time if it were free. For the same price Failed Adventurer and ISEKAI QUEST are vastly superior games in every way.
Don’t fall prey to this overpriced waste of space.
